Main field preparation & Planting

Main field Preparation :

1.     Follow Summer ploughing to economize the water requirement for initial land preparation

2.     Flood the field 1 or 2 days

3.     Apply Gypsum for problem soil (PH above 8.5) as per Soil Health Card recommendation.

4.     Apply 12.5 mt/ha FYM as basal (or) 6.5 mt/ha green manure

5.     Apply 10 packets of Azospyrillum & 10 packets of Phosphobacteria & incorporate in main field

6.     Apply recommended full dose of “P” as basal and N&K splits equally & apply ¹/₄^th Qty as basal

7.     Level the field by Bullocks (or) by tractor drawn levelling boards

SRI PLANTING

1.      Plant single seedling of 14 days old

2.      Dipping the seedlings (roots only) in Bio-fertilizer slurry of Azospyrillum                      10 packets/ha

3.      Square planting of 22.5x22.5cm (9”x9”) by marker

4.      Transplant the seedlings within 30 minutes of after pulling out the seedlings

FOR OTHER TRANSPLANTED PADDY

1.Age of seedlings 25-30 days for Medium duration and 35-40 days for Long Duration varieties

2.Shallow Planting is recommended

(i)       Control of Pest and disease Follow 1PM strategies

(ii)      Borers, shootfly, stemborer, cut worm, Ash weevil and succkking pest to be like aphide may be noticed follow 1PM strategies and

(iii)    Spray Endosulpham 35 EC 500ml/ha or Dimethote 35 EC 500ml/ha

(iv)    Disease like downy mildew and Leafspot apply Mancozeb 1000gm/ha.20 days after sowing 

(v)     Weed Management : Hoe and Hand weed on 17^th - 18^th day after sowing.

(vi)    Water Management: Ensure optimum moisture during critical Phase (45 to 65 days after sowing.

(i)       Gap filling 10^th day after sowing.

(ii)     Thinning: 15^th day leaving 2 seedling/hill

(iii)    Foliar spray: spray 0.5% urea and 1% KCL 45^th and 65^th day of sowing.

(iv)   Pest Control: follow IPM strategies

Sugar cane

Special Season:

(June-Sept)

Top dressing

Neemcake blended urea : Apply 67.5Kg.of N/ha.+ 27.5kg of Neemcake at 30^th, 60^th and 90^th day.

Surface application: Apply urea and Potash and apply on sides at 10-15 cm. depth.

Weeding: Manual weeding on 30^th, 60^th and 90th day of Planting before top dressing.

GrounD Nut-

Combined Nutrient Spray :

Soaking DAP        :  2.5kg

Ammonium Sulphate: 1.0 Kg.

Borax                : 0.5 Kg.,

In 37 liters of water overnight. Next day filter above 32 litres dilute with 468 liters of water to make 500 liters of spray solution.

Planofix 350ml./ha may also be mixed while spraying and spray on 25^th and 35^th day after sowing.
